A Cardi for ME

I have just finished Martha from Rowan Studio 2 for myself.

It is in Silkroad tweed which I bought as a bargain from Coldspring Mill last April. it's slightly bulkier than the original but it is lovely and soft and I enjoyed knitting it. I think I may knit this pattern again for summer. I really love the shape and the detail.

At last! Helsinki

At last I have finished that strange hat-scarf Helsinki which Isabel fell in love with at the Rowan fashion show when we were at the Harrogate knitting and stitching last year.It's only taken about 3 weeks but following straight on from Rosenary's grey cardigan I am all greyed out now and need some COLOUR.


Although I still don't feel up to tackling the Jamiesons fair isle pack yet.Anyway I haven't found the pattern.

I have made a felt flower pin for a swap. It is Merino tops with Wenslydale curls needle felted on when it was dry.
