I have now bought Studio 8 and I really like all the designs in there. I am knitting one for Isabel in a chunky wool in black and grey (of course) from her stash.
I have also finished a pair of plain socks as part of my Niece's birthday present. She was watching me knit some at Christmas and we got talking about it. She loves crafts and has done some felt making at a Saturday club she goes to in Henley so I was happy to send her some tops. I also got her a Rowan 'Learn to Knit kit' in John Lewis sale which I hope she will like. Her Gran taught her some knitting a while ago so I hope she will pick it up again with Gran's help.
